Let's face it. Prom is expensive. Between the tickets and the limo and the dinner and the boutonniere, not to mention your outfit, that's a lot of cash to front for one night. We don't know about you guys, but when we were in high school (and walking up-hill both ways in the snow), our saved up United Colors of Benetton sales associate hourly wages would just barely cover those expenses.
